Radio Drama in 5th Grade

5th grade is currently studying a unit on Radio Drama. Students have been exploring basic vocal techniques in articulation and creating a character as they hone their skills as voice actors, learn about the art of creating Foley sound effects, and the importance of music in setting a mood. In these photos, they were recording and editing their radio commercial project, where they used their creative expression skills working in small groups to write, record, and edit an original radio commercial.
