Leave Replacement – Second Grade Lead Teacher

Keys School is seeking a Leave Replacement – Second Grade Lead Teacher to join our Lower School community beginning no later than March 9, 2026. 

Keys School (K–8, ~320 students) offers an inquiry-based education that nurtures academic, social, emotional, and identity development. Our teachers create engaging, student-centered classrooms where curiosity, empathy, and confidence thrive.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative educator with:
– Experience teaching elementary grades
– A deep understanding of social-emotional learning and culturally responsive practice
– Strong communication, organization, and reflective teaching skills

Preferred qualifications:
– Master’s degree in education or related field
– Familiarity with Singapore Math, Responsive Classroom, and Project-Based Learning

Salary: $90,000+ (depending on experience)
– Start date: March 2026
– Location: Palo Alto, CA
