What Makes Keys Unique

Academic Excellence That Grows From Within

At Keys, academic achievement isn’t driven by pressure—it’s unlocked through confidence, curiosity, and emotional intelligence. Our students develop strong foundations and the courage to engage deeply with meaningful challenges.

The Power of the K-8 Journey

Our intentional K-8 model gives students the space to grow intellectually and emotionally. From hands-on discovery in Lower School to critical thinking and leadership in Middle School, students mature at the right pace for lifelong success.

A Community Where Students Are Seen, Heard, and Valued

Keys students learn to collaborate, advocate, and lead with compassion. In a community that celebrates inclusion and equity, every voice matters, and every student emerges prepared to thrive in a complex world.

A Few Words from our Families

Beyond Keys

“When I reflect on why we chose Keys 9 years ago, the word I used was “balance” – the balance of academic rigor and social & emotional learning. Now seeing my two children in middle school, I realize that academics and SEL are not an “either-or” to balance. Rather, SEL is the mechanism through which Keys delivers academic exceptionalism. Through deep coverage of academic fundamentals, application through interdisciplinary learning, and all with a lens of self-advocacy, a growth mindset, and a sense of belonging, kids journey through the K-8 arc ready to academically and socially take on any high school challenge they have ahead of them.

“At Keys, each teacher gets to know your child and supports them socially, emotionally, and academically at the place they’re at, providing a safe space to push themselves beyond their comfort zone. My children have grown tremendously both academically and socially during their time at Keys, and my oldest joined high school prepared to advocate for himself, engage socially, and join academically challenging classes without missing a beat. This is in large part thanks to the integrated way Keys approaches teaching, providing a well-rounded education where the focus is on the whole child.”
