3rd Grade in Chinatown!

Third graders visited the San Francisco Chinatown, one of the oldest Chinese communities outside China!
They discovered the local alleys where this community has continued to flourish for over 150 years, despite harsh racial discrimination. They visited Chinese Family associations, temples, sampled dim sum, herbal shops, and local supermarkets with fresh oriental fruits and vegetables. They went to a local Chinese restaurant for lunch and tasted Chinese tea at a tea shop!
