Adaptations and Natural Selection

As part of their unit on adaptations and natural selection, 3rd graders explored inherited trait variation by examining images of a family of dogs and identifying patterns in their physical traits. They analyzed similarities and differences among the parent dogs and their offspring, making evidence-based predictions about which traits were likely inherited from each parent.
