Ms. Kelsey’s Under the Oak Presentation

At last week’s Under the Oak at Keys Middle School Opening, our 5th Grade Teacher, Ms. Kelsey, shared her incredible first-time backpacking journey from California’s border with Mexico to Oregon!

She spoke honestly about starting with little experience and feeling unsure, but taking on this tremendous feat anyway. Ms. Kelsey’s story reminded our students that courage isn’t about being ready; it’s about believing in yourself and growing along the way!
