Fourth Graders began their year-long Project-Based Learning activity by embarking on a high-stakes mission in Paris, France!
Through cooperation, perseverance, a custom website, and an abundance of creativity, our intrepid student agents successfully intercepted a heist at the Louvre Museum. By determining the most expedient Metro line and exploring the subterranean maze of corridors, students virtually raced in an exciting collaborative undertaking using mathematics, critical thinking, pattern recognition, and real-time summative assessments hidden as exciting games. In order to succeed, our teams calculated flight times, avoided trains, rewired circuit breakers, and explored tunnels to find a secret passage to access I.M. Pei’s famous pyramid.
