Keys School is seeking a Middle School Social Studies Teacher & Advisor (Leave Replacement) – Fifth & Sixth Grade.

Keys School (K–8, ~320 students) in Palo Alto, CA, is looking for an experienced educator to teach Grade 5 & 6 Social Studies and serve as a Grade 5 advisor. This full-time leave replacement role (through November 2026, with possible extension) includes designing an inquiry-based, project-centered curriculum grounded in social-emotional learning and culturally responsive practice.

Qualifications:

– Middle school teaching experience

– Strong curriculum design and collaboration skills

– Commitment to identity-conscious, equity-centered teaching

– Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

Salary: $90,000+ DOE + benefits
